This research invites us to know the perception of informal traders about their occupational performance, in the context of the emergence of social movements in Chile that occurred during October 2019, specifically fair workers from the La Calera commune. The research team accesses knowledge through an exploratory study, from a qualitative methodology, through the application of semi-structured interviews to five participants, allowing to know and understand their perceptions, based en the depth of their sutorias. Based on the findings obtained, it can be concluded that if there was an effect on the occupational performance of the workers, given that during the Social Outbreak movement, they had a greater number of sales of their products from customers, which brought with it a positive perception on the part of the participants to obtain higher economic income. However, despite this situation, it was possible to visualize that the workers were more physically and emotionally exhausted, due to the high demands of the activity that their job entailed, consequently generating an occupational imbalance in the routine of the subjects.
