beneficiarios a temprana edad.
In the first instance we must understand what is the National Sports Institute (IND), this entity is a Chilean public service, which is responsible for implementing the national sports policy, being in each region of the country, being the main promoter of the activity physical and sports for all people. The National Sports Institute is formed by three units that include the area of physical activity, social sports unit for all, competitive sports unit and training unit for sport, in the latter is the program known as Integral Sports Schools. the EDI, which will be the axis of the investigation. The Integral Sports Schools are born due to the need presented by children to perform physical activity. The program provides the necessary tools for the execution and development of the EDI, presidential measure N ° 37 promoted by the government of Michelle Bachelet in the recreational and sports area. The human resource with which the program counts consists of teachers and technicians, who are trained to carry out the classes in the different components during the year, as well as a psycho-nutritional duo that works directly in the schools, strengthening healthy eating and the skills to life, developing the necessary implementation to generate the right environment for the different activities. Currently, EDIs are inserted mostly in the most vulnerable sectors of the country. The benefit for each precinct where the program is executed consists in granting a teacher to do the classes in the various components, in this case Active Garden, adding the sports implementation that the IND delivers each year to each educational establishment that benefits from the program In return, it is requested to have an appropriate venue where the various activities are developed. This is how it is intended to achieve greater adherence to physical activity in children, lower rates of childhood obesity and promote life skills, the former through a comprehensive plan with professionals, providing a sports stamp to many of these establishments, which have more support and tools from the National Sports Institute (teacher, psychologist, nutritionist, sports equipment, meetings, clothing, among others). Given the above, the purpose of the research whose main objective is to evaluate and identify the level and differences that exist in the development of gross motor skills with the beneficiaries participating in the Integral Sports Schools (EDI) and those students who are not part of the program. The methodology to be used was a field investigation, where the Gallahue Test was applied to three educational centers in the community of Recoleta, with a total of 90 subjects. This is intended to demonstrate the great importance and impact that the Comprehensive Sports Schools program has on its beneficiaries at an early.
