dc.description.abstractLa fisura labiopalatina es una de las malformaciones congénitas más frecuentes que afecta a 1 de cada 700 recién nacidos y que abarca un tratamiento multidisciplinario desde el nacimiento hasta la edad adulta, que producen alteraciones estéticas y funcionales en relación a la succión, deglución y fonación. Hoy en día sigue existiendo la necesidad de realizar mejoras en cuanto al manejo quirúrgico de estos infantes que permita corregir de forma simultánea las alteraciones anatómicas para así poder conseguir un resultado estético y funcional lo más óptimo posible. Los resultados esperados de esta investigación serán sintetizar la evidencia científica y disminuir la brecha de conocimiento en el manejo actual de esta patología. De este modo garantizar el correcto abordaje quirúrgico en infantes de 0 a 5 años con fisura labiopalatina.
dc.description.abstractCleft lip and palate is one of the most frequent congenital malformations that affects 1 in 700 newborns and that covers a multidisciplinary treatment from birth to adulthood, which produces aesthetic and functional alterations in relation to suction, swallowing and phonation. Today there is still a need to make improvements in the surgical management of these infants that allow simultaneous correction of anatomical alterations in order to achieve the most optimal aesthetic and functional result possible. The expected results of this research will be to synthesize the scientific evidence and reduce the knowledge gap in the current management of this pathology. In this way, guarantee the correct surgical approach in infants from 0 to 5 years of age with cleft lip and palate.en
