En el presente seminario de investigación tiene como objetivo comprender el relato de una
madre y su hija sobre la experiencia de hospitalización durante un periodo de tiempo prologando
desde la teoría del sostén emocional. Esto se realizará a partir de los aportes teóricos de la
conceptualización del sostén emocional, tomando como principal exponente a Donald Winnicott
y como segundos referentes a algunos autores como son Thomas Ogden y Sonia Abadi, que
entregarán una perspectiva más contemporánea al concepto. Por tal razón, esta investigación
radica en la comprensión de la experiencia subjetiva de la madre y su hija sobre el contexto de
hospitalización. Para poder llevar a cabo tal objetivo, se realizará una entrevista a una madre,
junto con el análisis del relato de algunas láminas del test de apercepción infantil con figuras
humanas (CAT-H) a su hija, que presenten dicha experiencia. La información obtenida, permitirá
determinar la posible convergencia del relato de la madre y su hija, con los aportes teóricos del
concepto de sostén emocional.
The objective of this research seminar is to understand the account of a mother and her daughter in terms of their experience with hospitalization during a short period of time, based on the theory of the emotional holding. This will be done using the theoretical contributions of the concept of emotional holding, with Donald Winnicott as the main exponent, and other authors such as Thomas Ogden and Sonia Abadi as secondary references that offer a mode contemporary vision of the concept. Therefore, this research is about understanding the subjective experience of the mother and her daughter regarding the concept of hospitalization. To that end, an interview of the mother will be performed along with an analysis of the story behind some slides of the children’s apperception test with human figures (CAT-H) performed by her daughter, that show such experience. The information obtained will help in the determination of the possible convergence of the account of the mother and her daughter, with the theoretical contributions of the concept of emotional holding.
