| dc.description.abstract | Esta memoria tiene por objetivo entregar una herramienta que ayude a evaluar las distintas caracterĆsticas de la zona, que determinan el diseƱo de pozos y zanjas de infiltraciĆ³n en los sectores urbanos de Santiago. Se ha procedido a recopilar los antecedentes de la ciudad de Santiago, incluyendo la hidrogeologĆa, hidrologĆa, geologĆa y aspectos urbanos. TambiĆ©n se dan a conocer aspectos mĆ”s importantes sobre las obras de infiltraciĆ³n subterrĆ”nea como pozos y zanjas, sus caracterĆsticas de diseƱo y construcciĆ³n, los materiales y sus obras anexas. Finalmente, con toda esta informaciĆ³n se concluye que estas obras bien diseƱadas ayudan a solucionar problemas locales de drenaje y son un complemento a colectores de aguas lluvias. | dc.description.abstract | The objective of this thesis is to supply a tool in order to help evaluate the different characteristics of this region, which determine the design of the infiltration wells and ditches in the urban sections of Santiago. We have gathered hystorical date of Santiago city including the hydrogeology, hydrology, geology and urban aspects. More important aspects are also shown on the underground infiltration of the works, such us wells and ditches, their design and construction characteristics, the materials and adjuncted works. Finally, with all this information we conclude that this works, well-designed, will help solve drainage local problems, and they are a complement to rain water collectors.
