Las distintas Reformas educativas en Chile durante el último decenio han
centrado sus políticas educativas en lograr cobertura escolar, mejorar el
financiamiento en las escuelas aumentando considerablemente la subvención y
actualizando las bases curriculares en todos los niveles educacionales con una
fundamentación en el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes . Sin
embargo, a pesar de todos los esfuerzos económicos y curriculares los procesos de
implementación de las distintas reformas han carecido de rigor científico, debido a que
el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje sigue siendo escolarizante, reproductor,
orientado a los contenidos y no a la formación integral del ser humano.
El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo proponer consideraciones pedagógicas
para la formación del pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes de las escuela en Chile,
basándose en un análisis crítico de la realidad educativa chilena y los principales
desafíos que tiene el sistema educativo y la escuela en particular en el desarrollo del
pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes chilenos.
The different educational reforms in Chile during the last decade have focused their education policies on achieving school coverage, improving funding in schools by considerably increasing the subsidy and updating the curricular bases at all educational levels with a foundation in the development of the students' thinking. However, despite all the economic and curricular efforts, the implementation processes of the different reforms have lacked scientific rigor, because the teaching-learning process continues to be scholarly, reproductive, oriented to the content and not to the integral formation of the human being. The objective of this paper is to propose pedagogical considerations for the formation of thought in the students of the schools in Chile, based on a critical analysis of the Chilean educational reality and the main challenges that the educational system and the school have in particular in the development of the thinking of Chilean students.
