dc.description.abstractLa investigación que se presenta a continuación pretende ser un esbozo del complejo mundo de significados atribuidos por los conductores del transporte público de la ciudad de Concepción, vinculados al concepto de “ocupación colectiva”, el cual emerge recientemente desde la disciplina de Terapia Ocupacional, incorporando como elemento central las experiencias recuperadas desde el discurso de los conductores como actores principales de este sistema, y su interrelación con el bienestar o malestar psicosocial en el territorio. El estudio se lleva a cabo bajo un enfoque cualitativo de investigación, donde se realizaron 17 entrevistas a conductores pertenecientes a dos Líneas de buses del Gran Concepción, Buses Tucapel y Buses Campanil, y que tuvieran una experiencia mínima de 8 años en la misma Línea y con 5 años realizando el mismo recorrido. Un componente relevante de esta investigación es que esta se realizó en la provincia de Concepción, con la intención de situar en la realidad local una problemática que históricamente ha sido abordado con investigaciones en Santiago, capital del país. La presente investigación establece un aporte teórico que contribuye a la implementación de políticas públicas en el rubro de transporte público y que beneficia a los sujetos que desarrollan esta actividad. Lo anterior, considerando el escaso estudio teórico respecto a esta temática y el énfasis que otorga el sistema neoliberal al bien económico y funcional, invisibilizando aspectos subjetivos de los conductores del transporte público.es
dc.description.abstractThe research presented below is intended to be an outline of the complex world of meanings attributed by drivers of public transport in the city of Concepción, linked to the concept of "collective occupation", which recently emerged from the discipline of Occupational Therapy, incorporating as a central element, the experiences recovered from the discourse of drivers as the main actors of this system, and their interrelation with psychosocial well-being or discomfort. The study is carried out under a qualitative research approach, where 17 interviews were conducted with drivers belonging to two Bus Lines, Buses Tucapel and Buses Campanil, which had a minimum experience of 8 years in the same Line and with 5 years doing the same route. A relevant component of this research is that it was carried out in the province of Concepción, with the intention of situating in local reality a problem that has historically been approached from a territorial centralism. This research aims to establish a theoretical contribution that contributes to the implementation of public policies in the field of public transport and that benefits the subjects that develop this activity. The foregoing, considering the little theoretical study on this subject and the emphasis given by the neoliberal system to the economic and functional good, making invisible the subjective aspects of drivers of public transport, which is possible to appreciate in the reality of Chile.
