dc.description.abstractUna de las funciones principales de las Municipalidades es entregar a su comunidad variados beneficios, que ayuden a la población en general a mejorar su estilo de vida, es por esto que han tenido en este último tiempo, un rol bastante importante en el desarrollo del Deporte y la Recreación, a través de la planificación y ejecución de proyectos deportivos y recreativos los cuales son ofrecidos a los habitantes de las comunas. En la Municipalidad de La Cisterna, han tratado con los medios que tienen a su alcance desarrollar un programa deportivo y recreativo comunal que cumpla y entregue un servicio variado de actividades deportivas y recreativas para sus habitantes, logrando ejecutar un número muy importante de proyectos, los cuales han sido distribuidos en todos los sectores de la comuna. Para el municipio también es importante crear organismos de control interno con los cuales puedan supervisar y evaluar de mejor manera el desarrollo de los proyectos que se están ejecutando, es por eso que se autorizo realizar esta investigación con el fin de obtener resultados que los orienten al momento de planificar las acciones a seguir en el futuro, es por eso que es importante:”Conocer la realidad de las actividades deportivas y recreativas que se realizan en la comuna.es
