Resumen
La construcción de edificaciones en altura se ha incrementado desde hace ya unas
décadas. El desafío por construir edificios más altos y con mayor capacidad para ser
habitados genera mayores riesgos para las empresas constructoras. Estos riesgos se
relacionan a los accidentes que pueden producirse en las distintas faenas durante la
construcción, siendo la de terminación de fachada la que presenta un riesgo latente debido a
la utilización de andamios o estructuras auxiliares. Trabajar sobre éstas estructuras exige de
un entrenamiento y conocimiento por parte de la misma empresa y sus trabajadores con el fin
de mantener la seguridad de todos.
Esta investigación dará a conocer los distintos andamios utilizados para la construcción
y mantencion de edificaciones en altura. Se verán además temas relacionados con la
prevención y por último se estimará mediante un ejemplo el costo que puede llegar a pagar
una empresa constructora a causa de un accidente sobre estas estructuras.
The construction of buildings by height has increased over the past few decades. The challenge of building higher buildings with a larger capacity of being inhabited represents greater risks for construction companies. These risks are associated with the accidents that may occur involving various tasks during construction, being the termination of the front the one that presents a latent risk due to the use of scaffolds or auxiliary structures. Working on these structures requires training and knowledge of both the company and its employees, in order to keep the security of all. The following research will present the different kinds of scaffolds used for the construction and maintenance of high buildings. In addition, topics related with prevention will be analyzed and finally, an estimation of the cost for a construction company in case of an accident involving these structures will be presented through an example.
