Chile currently used as conventional construction methods materials such as masonry, wood, reinforced concrete and steel framing, among others, being repetitive processes and well known to the sector. This research shows a construction method using two different materials, one conventional as the steel: Metal channels, and the other is the lightweight concrete panel with expanded polystyrene, an ancient material but very little worked in our country. The investigation raises in 3 items, where the first part will be announce the characteristics, uses, types and properties of lightweight concrete, classifying and focusing on lightweight concrete with expanded polystyrene. In the second phase the types of buildings to which this construction system aims will be presented. In this segment we will see everything about prefabricated buildings of one floor, with a special emphasis on industrialized housing (prefabricated houses). We will qualify and understand the differences between each other, and explain why this segment of construction was adopted. The third part will define the construction system itself, starting with the definition of lightweight concrete panels, their characteristics, size and dosage. Finally, we will study the construction system, explaining step by step the proper use of this and the tools and processes necessary for their implementation. The conclusion will be present showing the usefulness of this constructive system and which sectors of the construction will be presented.
