The phenomenon of international migration in Chile is characterized by a higher percentage of female presence, which favours the birth of children in Chilean territory and / or family reunification. Under the Convention of Children Rights, regardless of nationality or immigration status, the Chilean government must generate the conditions that guarantee access to education for this group. It is relevant for Social Work to study this topic and identify the strategies that are being carried out in the educational communities to achieve the inclusion of various migrant groups that attend infant school which belong to JUNJI network. In order to accomplish an innovative research and due to there are not enough researches on this field, this group of theses has decided to tackle the binomial migration and initial education; in the framework of the intercultural perspective, as one of the key concepts in the problematization and development of our research. The following research is exploratory and descriptive, since there is not a previous knowledge about how the strategies are developed by the educational community in intercultural education. The educational institution that will be used for this sample was chosen intentionally, due to from the data provided by the institution, this concentrates a high number of children coming from migrant families. The unit of analysis that contemplates the present study corresponds to the 9 educational community of the infant school. Nevertheless, for an ethical safeguard of the investigation team, there will not be a direct contact with children of the infant school. It is relevant for the investigation team to identify the social intercultural strategies of inclusion implemented by the infant school “Esperanza” due to identifying these actions this research could serve as an input for the institution and afterwards it could be replicated in other spaces which have similar characteristics.
