492.324.969.
In this work, the report entitled "Production and Marketing of Tectán ®: Economic Pre-Feasibility Study", was evaluated for the pre-feasibility of the installation of a processing plant in the Metropolitan Region for recycled paperboard packaging from beverages which can be produced into plates for residential construction in the short-term (Tectán®), and furniture and tiles in the medium-term. At present, 2.4% of the cartons for beverages produced by the company Tetrapak® are harvested and shipped to Argentina for the production of plates (Tectán®). This situation catalyzed the realization of this project considering the volume of packaging that could be recovered through additional environmental campaigns, with a strong social emphasis and can be used locally to manufacture Tectán®. For its part, the company Recupac S.A. currently collected, washed and bundled small fraction of the packing, thus facilitating the installation of a production process on a larger scale. The target market for the proposed business enterprises are mainly engaged in the field of construction and real estate, basic housing and specialized hardware. The planting of Colombian origin requires an initial investment of $ 530 million put into Chile. It can be installed in an area of 1.000m² and has a production capacity of 3,500 plates per month. The economic evaluation showed that the project is not feasible given the large idle capacity of the facility and by the limited amount of material available (NPV $ - 615,608,718). For a collection of 100% of the Tetrapack packaging, the project does feasible with a VAN $ 206,286,058) and an IRR of 24.7% For their part, the analysis is very favorable (100% collection, favorable financing rates and a price similar to iron their substitutes), with a VAN of $ 492,324,969.
