Contribución al geopatrimonio del área noreste del Campo de Hielo Sur : sitios de interés geológico, geomorfológico y glaciológico

| dc.description.abstract | Para esta memoria como primera etapa, se ha trabajado en torno a una zona con un posible enriquecimiento geopatrimonial la cual se ubica en el sector noreste de Campo de Hielo Sur, también contempla el Lago O’Higgins, Villa O’Higgins, entre otros sitios que circundan en la zona. Dicho sector se ha trabajado en base a recopilación de información, antecedentes de la zona y ayuda de expertos que conocen el área. En el área de estudio, afloran rocas metamórficas, volcánicas, volcanosedimentarias, intrusivas y depósitos cuaternarios, los cuales son descritos tanto para la región y el área de estudio. También se centra en la parte estructural que contempla acerca de la dinámica actual de las placas y algunas estructuras importantes de la región, como lo son el caso de la faja plegada y corrida de la Patagonia y la Zona de Falla Liquiñe-Ofqui, y también con respecto a la evolución geodinámica de la región que donde se abarca la formación del basamento, la Provincia de Chon Aike, el desarrollo de la cuenca de Aysén entre otros aspectos. Se presenta un mapa geológico 1:250.000, columnas estratigráficas y corte geológico para caracterizar la descripción geológica del área de estudio. Este trabajo se inicia a partir de la iniciativa de querer divulgar en la sociedad la geología vista desde otro ángulo, para poder compartir y que se logre percibir lo importante que debe ser cuidar ciertos lugares que pueden aportar más que solo estar ahí. Por ende, se realizan listados con posibles sitios de geodiversidad y geositios, en torno a los cuales se realiza una selección, para describirlos, evaluar su potencial, valor y riesgo de degradación. Para describir bien esta parte, se realizan caracterizaciones con su respectiva información, un mapa con la ubicación de todos los geositios y sitios de geodiversidad, para las diferentes evaluaciones se realizan tablas que resumen el proceso, el cual también es descrito y trabajado en base a la metodología de Brilha del 2016. | es |
| dc.description.abstract | For this memory as a first stage, we have worked around an area with a possible geoheritage enrichment which is located in the northeast sector of Campo de Hielo Sur, also includes Lake O'Higgins, Villa O'Higgins, among other sites. that surround the area. This sector has been worked on based on the collection of information, background information on the area and the help of experts who know the area. In the study area, metamorphic, volcanic, volcanosedimentary, intrusive rocks and Quaternary deposits outcrop, which are described for both the region and the study area. It also focuses on the structural part that contemplates the current dynamics of the plates and some important structures in the region, such as the case of the Patagonian fold and thrust belt and the Liquiñe-Ofqui Fault Zone, and also with respect to the geodynamic evolution of the region that includes the formation of the basement, the Province of Chon Aike, the development of the Aysén basin, among other aspects. A 1:250,000 geological map, stratigraphic columns and geological section are presented to characterize the geological description of the study area. This work begins from the initiative of wanting to spread geology seen from another angle in society, to be able to share and to perceive how important it must be to take care of certain places that can contribute more than just being there. Therefore, lists are made with possible geodiversity sites and geosites, around which a selection is made, to describe them, evaluate their potential, value and risk of degradation. To describe this part well, characterizations are made with their respective information, a map with the location of all the geosites and geodiversity sites, for the different evaluations tables are made that summarize the process, which is also described and worked on based on the Brilha methodology of 2016. | en |
