Nowadays there are few times that the degree of the acquired learning by children, who participate in environmental education programs that are delivering today in Chile are evaluated quantitatively and qualitatively, therefore it can not be known with certainty whether all these programs are bringing benefits or not to those who participate in it. This, in the context in which any company can, at this time, develop environmental education programs, but do we really know what benefits is bringing? Are these programs really environmental education? Based on these questions and looking as Chile is making progress on issues of non-formal environmental education, arise the need to evaluate the ecological educational program carried out by the PROACTIO Company, since three years with the students of sixth grade of San Francisco Javier School of Huechuraba, at the educational center Biota Maule, XVII Region, Chile. The evaluation of this program, developed through various evaluative techniques, both quantitative and qualitative, led us to know the changes that children from the San Francisco Javier School of Huechuraba, experienced, after there being applied the program "Vilches 2007", and also may obtain the monitor's optimum profile that is needed to carry out this eco-educational program.
