| dc.description.abstract | En la actualidad las sociedades cada vez son más complejas, siendo tema cotidiano ver por la televisión o leer en redes sociales, problemáticas de índole social, económico y cultural, sin embargo, desde un tiempo a esta parte, en nuestro país, se ha incrementado en cantidad e intensidad la lucha por las demandas de género, por lo que parece usual oír hablar sobre movimientos por el orgullo gay y acciones colectivas orientadas a enseñar sobre orientación sexual e identidad de género. Este proyecto, tiene como misión principal abarcar las temáticas de matrimonio homosexual y adopción homoparental, siendo este último el principal motor de investigación, debido a que con frecuencia las encuestas de opinión pública dan como resultado, al menos en Chile, que existe un porcentaje significativo que aprobaría el matrimonio como institución que avale la unión de parejas del mismo sexo, no obstante, los datos reflejarían lo contrario a la hora de preguntar por la tenencia de niños y niñas. Para comprender la diferencia entre la percepción de los heterosexuales chilenos frente a ambas peticiones de minorías sexuales, fue necesario recolectar la opinión de los informantes, en este caso apoderados de colegios de clase alta, media y baja, a través de entrevistas que podrían ayudar a esclarecer esta problemática. Siendo la clase alta y media la más aislacionista para vincularse con las demandas homosexuales, y la clase baja la más comprometida con que se entregue información sobre diversidad sexual. En este sentido, y tal como señalan Taylor y Habermas vivimos en una época multicultural, cumpliendo el Estado el rol de ente jurídico encargado de orientar las nuevas necesidades actuales con mira a la integración social. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Currently, societies are becoming more complex, where it is common to see on TV or to read on the social media problems related to the social, economic or cultural area. However, the amount and intensity of the movement of gender equality have been increased recently in our country, which makes more frequent to hear about movements related to gay pride or collective actions oriented to teaching gender identity and sexual orientation. This project has as a main mission to include homosexual marriage and same-sex adoption, being this last topic the ultimate motor of the investigation due to the frequent answers on surveys of public opinion. They have shown that, at least in Chile, there is a significative percentage of people that would approve same-sex marriages legally. Yet, the data reflects the total opposite when surveyed about same-sex couples adopting children. To understand the difference in the perception of Chilean heterosexual between the two requests, it was necessary to collect the opinion of the survey respondents which were parents from high, mid, and low social status schools through interviews that could help to explain this problem. It was discovered that high class and middle class were the most isolationist, not willing to relate with the homosexual demands and the lower one the most committed to the delivery of information about sexual diversity. In this regard, as Taylor and Habermas point out, we live in a multicultural time where the Government plays the role of the legal body guiding the new necessities heading towards the social inclusion. | |
