| dc.description.abstract | Cuando conectamos un implante dental empezamos la relaciĆ³n con el medio oral desde el pilar de cicatrizaciĆ³n hasta la instalaciĆ³n de la corona definitiva, eso generarĆ” una posible colonizaciĆ³n bacteriana en la zona de los aditamentos que estĆ”n protegidas por esta mucosa transgingival que puede desencadenar la activaciĆ³n de mecanismos inmunes de defensa que nos llevarĆ” a la posible pĆ©rdida de tejido Ć³seo alrededor de la plataforma de nuestro implante, que nos puede traer consecuencias a la salud y estabilidad del implante en el tiempo. Este trabajo surge con la finalidad de evaluar quĆ© tan profunda es la colonizaciĆ³n bacteriana, en relaciĆ³n a la corona provisoria, segĆŗn la cantidad de la mucosa transgingival presente en el sitio. La investigaciĆ³n consiste en analizar 22 coronas provisorias previa a la instalaciĆ³n de la corona definitiva, en pacientes atendidos en la Universidad AndrĆ©s Bello durante septiembre y octubre 2022, luego de que se encontraran 8 semanas expuestos al medio bucal, sistemĆ”ticamente sanos y sin enfermedad periodontal activa. Antes de instalar la corona definitiva se remueve la corona provisoria y se sumergieron en soluciĆ³n de revelador de cristal violeta marca BioquĆmica, para observar la cantidad de placa bacteriana infiltrada subgingivalmente con el fin de relacionarla con la altura (mm) de mucosa transgingival presente en el sitio. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una correlaciĆ³n muy alta entre las variables estudiadas, el resultado de las pruebas realizadas nos dice que a mayor altura de mucosa transgingival menor es el porcentaje de infiltraciĆ³n bacteriana. | dc.description.abstract | When we connect a dental implant, we begin the relationship with the oral environment from the healing abutment to the installation of the final crown, this will generate a possible bacterial colonization in the area of the attachments that are protected by this transgingival mucosa that can trigger the activation of immune defense mechanisms that will lead to the possible loss of bone tissue around the platform of our implant, which can have consequences for the health and stability of the implant over time. This work arises with the purpose of evaluating how deep the bacterial colonization is, in relation to the provisional crown, according to the amount of transgingival mucosa present in the site. The research consists of analyzing 22 provisional crowns prior to the installation of the definitive crown, in patients treated at the AndrƩs Bello University during September and October 2022, after they were exposed to the oral environment for 8 weeks, systematically healthy and without an active periodontal disease. Before installing the definitive crown, the provisional crown is removed and submerged in Biochemical brand violet crystal developer solution, to observe the amount of subgingivally infiltrated bacterial plaque, relating it to the height (mm) of transgingival mucosa present in the crown. place.
