Resumen
El propósito de este estudio es analizar la percepción de los estudiantes inmigrantes de segundo ciclo básico respecto el sistema educacional chileno en un colegio municipal de la comuna de Lo Espejo. La metodología utilizada es de enfoque cualitativo con diseño fenomenológico. El tipo de estudio es exploratorio, basada en la teoría fundamentada y la muestra es no probabilística Los participantes de la investigación fueron 10 estudiantes inmigrantes, de diversas nacionalidades, de segundo ciclo básico de una escuela básica municipal de la comuna de Lo Espejo, Santiago de Chile. El instrumento ocupado para recoger información se relaciona con una entrevista semi estructurada con preguntas abiertas. La aplicación del instrumento tuvo como modalidad una entrevista grupal o grupo focal. El resultado del estudio arrojo que el sistema educacional chileno es discriminatorio con los estudiantes inmigrantes, porque son víctimas de agresiones verbales y el currículum no considera la interculturalidad.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the perception of immigrant students of second cycle with respect to the Chilean educational system in a municipal school in the district of Lo Espejo. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The type of study is exploratory, based on grounded theory and the sample is not probabilistic. The participants of the research were 10 immigrant students, of different nationalities, of the second basic cycle of a municipal basic school of the commune of Lo Espejo, Santiago de Chile. The instrument used to gather information is related to a semi-structured interview with open questions. The application of the instrument had as modality a group interview or focal group. The application of the instrument had as modality a group interview or focal group. The result of the study showed that the Chilean educational system is discriminatory with immigrant students, because they are victims of verbal aggressions and the curriculum does not consider interculturality.
