In the region of the Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins, specifically in the district of San Fernando, there is a place called "Termas del Flaco" a very important natural monument for our country wich are the outstanding dinosaur fossil footprints dating from the Upper Jurassic ancient times. Unfortunately there is a problem with this fossil record considering that there is no organism taking care and protecting it, making it vulnerable to erosion in the hands of the people who don't really understand that what they use as ladders is actually a historical and natural monument. Also worth adding that there is no defined path to reach this attractive and this generate different routes impacting much of the local ecosystem. The overall objective os this thesis is to design a self-guided interpretive trail leading to the dinosaur footprints . In order to achieve this goal a series of methodological steps has been followed that aim to design a path that besides helping people to get to see the tracks, they can also learn about what they have around them by reading informational panels found throughout the course. These panels contain general information about the local community, the flora and fauna, geology of the site and dinosaur footprints. As a result six informational panels were generated together with directional arrows and preventive indicators that would help the visitor during his tour. It is concluded through the document that through this self-guided trail proposal people would use only one way to reach the destination and the information panels would be used as a means to raise awareness about the importance of preserving our ecosystem resources, putting full emphasis on this place where there is a piece of history of our planet, such as the fossil footprints "Dinosaur Footprints" in the Termas del Flaco.
