Relato interpretativo para personas con discapacidad visual en la provincia de Concepción, región del Biobío Chile

En la provincia de Concepción, región del Biobío hay una escasa oferta de actividades recreativas al aire libre que cumplan con las necesidades específicas de las personas con discapacidad visual. Es por esto que el presente estudio pretende aportar a la disminución de brechas relacionadas a la accesibilidad en actividades recreativas al aire libre al momento de poseer una discapacidad visual. Se busca desarrollar un relato interpretativo inspirado en fauna del bosque caducifolio de Concepción, que sea inclusivo y cumpla con las necesidades específicas de las personas con discapacidad visual, desde la implementación de sus percepciones y nivel de interés por participar en relatos interpretativos.
Se presenta una metodología cualitativa de tipo fenomenológica, referente a sentimientos, pensamientos y percepciones donde se busca profundizar en la comprensión asociada a la interpretación del patrimonio natural por parte de personas con discapacidad visual, esto a través de herramientas: Entrevista semiestructurada, revisión bibliográfica y ficha de especies.
Se extrajeron relatos de personas con discapacidad visual residentes de la provincia de Concepción a través de una entrevista semi estructurada, para posteriormente analizar y categorizar mediante gráficos y nubes de palabras sus percepciones sobre los temas tratados y su interés por participar en actividades al aire libre. Los principales resultados obtenidos fueron unánimes respecto a la falta de actividades al aire libre accesibles, el total de los entrevistados reconoce la importancia de estas actividades para el buen vivir y el 100% afirma tener interés por participar.
Se determina que existe una necesidad por parte de las personas con discapacidad visual residentes en la provincia de Concepción por participar en actividades recreativas al aire libre, reconocen como indispensable las actividades recreativas en espacios naturales, demostrando un alentador interés por participar pese a las dificultades presentadas en la actualidad.
Las principales motivaciones indicadas por las personas con discapacidad visual son los beneficios que les otorga el mantenerse activos a su bienestar emocional y físico.
In the province of Concepción, Biobío region, there is a limited supply of outdoor recreational activities that meet the specific needs of people with visual disabilities. This is why this study aims to contribute to the reduction of gaps related to accessibility in outdoor recreational activities when having a visual disability. The aim is to develop an interpretive story inspired by the fauna of the deciduous forest of Concepción, which is inclusive and meets the specific needs of people with visual disabilities, from the implementation of their perceptions and level of interest in participating in interpretive stories. A qualitative phenomenological methodology is presented, referring to feelings, thoughts and perceptions, which seeks to deepen the understanding associated with the interpretation of natural heritage by people with visual disabilities, this through tools: semistructured interview, bibliographic review and species sheet. Stories were extracted from people with visual disabilities residing in the province of Concepción through a semi-structured interview, to subsequently analyze and categorize their perceptions of the topics discussed and their interest in participating in outdoor activities using graphs and word clouds. The main results obtained were unanimous regarding the lack of accessible outdoor activities, all of those interviewed recognized the importance of these activities for good living and 100% stated that they were interested in participating. It is determined that there is a need for people with visual disabilities residing in the province of Concepción to part icipate in outdoor recreational activities, they recognize recreational activities in natural spaces as indispensable, demonstrating a talented interest in participating despite the difficulties presented currently. The main motivations indicated by people with visual disabilities are the benefits that keeping their emotional and physical well-being active gives them.
