The objective of this investigation is to publicize the relevance of physical activity as a protection factor standing within the prevention programs of the national council for the narcotic control’s drugs, CONACE, at the national level, proposing a program to encourage the practice of sport and recreation systematically as an habit, in order to devote time in leisure items in a healthy manner and inclusive on young people at risk. In particular, and after a diligent field research, it was designed a draft of physical activity through sport and recreation for young people of the community from La Calera, where its construction was count on collaboration with the coordinator of CONACE and the psychologist of this public institution. It is important to emphasize that the physical activity allows to anticipate and to improve these aspects. For this reason to restore healthy habits on the child, like the sport and the recreation, they serve as the most important protective factor to the problem on the young peopleat risk. As Perez (1999) exposes it, " the real current challenge is in these emergent populations formed by young women at risk, drug- dependent, that they are there and do not enjoy enough of political and civil attention. This population urgesinterventions’ programsof all the levels for helping to enrich their quality of life in a positive way and to favor their insertion in the society". In consequence, the physical activity is a real contribution to use the free time (time of leisure), in children and young women, who are at risk of vulnerability, helping them in different aspects of their lives and stimulating them to realize the sports.
