utilizar.
This paper studies the fictional project called Campanario Mine, corresponding to the company La Negra, which is located on extensive copper reserves that make it economically profitable. Its design is divided into 20 sectors with economic interest, which are exploited by the Sub Level Stoping method. Each of these sectors has different regulations, densities and annual productions. This research is focused on generating an optimal design of a loading and transport system for each sector studied, reducing the number of equipment to achieve an optimization in operational and investment costs in future economic evaluations, through simulations carried out in the evaluation software for loading and transport fleets called TALPAC. To carry out this work, at first instant, a proposal was made to reduce the number of sectors based on their transport routes and regulations. In order to reduce the congestion times that occur between equipment and to limit the number of sectors to be analyzed, subject 8 of the 20 sectors to study. The critical parameters required by the program to run the simulations correctly are identified, studied and incorporated, such as, for example, incorporation of the equipment to be used, transport routes, rolling resistance, filling factor, sponge factor, densities, mechanical availability of the equipment, cycle times of the loader units, delay times, shift systems, among others. Simulations are performed for both base cases and for changes in production plans (-10%, -5%, +5%, +10%, +10%), to observe the variations that may occur in the transport fleets. Once the simulation process is completed, decisions are made as to the number and model of equipment to be use.
