cal hidratada.
This thesis sprang up from the idea of analyzing the electrochemical treatment applied to eleven streets in Melipilla town; the analysis it self took place in a laboratory. This public work was signed by metropolitan Serviu by means of decision 09/11/98. (Participative Flexible Pavements). This treatment consists of stabilizing chemically natural ground located where pavements are produced, therefore a granular base is unnecessary absolutely. The achieved stabilization in this bilateral agreement consisted of adding a 2.15 % of cement to the natural ground, referred to D.M.C.S., obtained through the Modified Proctor Test and 210 ce., of sulfonated oil for each MT3 compressed dried material. lt is necessary to mention that this kind of stabilization is advisable to these grounds with a high content of refined because the reactions is due to level of clay particles. Ground chosen to carryout experience possessed the least recommended conditions for this type of stabilization; this material was collected from the lower range of mountains situated Santiago eastern side. The experience produced in a lab. Consisted in analyzing the stabilization of this ground with the amount of cement and sulfonated oil described befare, together with a combination of these elements and hydrated lime.-
