Resumen
La investigación se centra en las dificultades de aprendizaje de los alumnos universitarios, conocer,
identificar y caracterizar estas dificultades, específicamente de los alumnos de la carrera de
psicopedagogía de la universidad Andrés Bello, para esto se sustentará la información a través de la
percepción que tienen los docentes sobre las dificultades de los alumnos a través de la aplicación de
instrumentos para recoger la información requerida, ellos nos revelan las dificultades que han podido
observar en sus estudiantes a lo largo de los años, la causa probable y cómo esto afecta tanto
académicamente como personalmente al alumno, las dificultades de aprendizaje presentes en los
alumnos universitarios pueden deberse a diferentes factores, es por esto que esta investigación considera
dificultades específicas, dificultades personales y dificultades contextuales. Las dificultades más
señaladas por los docentes pertenecen a las áreas de funciones ejecutivas, procesos cognitivos y
lectoescritura, se puede concluir a partir de la información recopilada que la responsabilidad de las
dificultades presente en los alumnos universitarios no solo recae en ellos, sino que también en la
metodología utilizada por los docentes, la malla curricular, la estimulación, desarrollo y potenciación
de las habilidades mencionadas en el periodo escolar, el contexto personal, familiar y cultural que
repercutirán directa o indirectamente en el ámbito académico.
The research focuses on the difficulties of university students to know, identify and characterize these difficulties, specifically of the students of the career of psychopedagogy of the Andrés Bello University, for this the information will be sustained through the perception that teachers have about the difficulties of the students through the application of instruments to collect the required information, they reveal to us the difficulties that they have been able to observe in their students over the years, the probable cause and how this affects both academically and personally the, The learning difficulties present in university students may be due to different factors, which is why this research considers specific difficulties, personal difficulties and contextual difficulties. The difficulties most pointed out by teachers belong to the areas of executive functions, cognitive processes and literacy, it can be concluded from the information collected that the responsibility for the difficulties present in university students not only falls on them, but also on the methodology used by teachers, the curricular mesh, the stimulation, development and enhancement of the aforementioned skills in the school period, the personal, family and cultural context that will directly or indirectly affect the academic environment.
