Work related Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) had an exponential increase in the past decades, and they have affected workers from all occupations. The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of a program of workplace exercises (WE) and the benefits that the program gives to workers on physical and psychological levels. The purpose is also to find out the effectiveness of this program in terms of preventing MSDs. To know those benefits, Tresmontes Lucchetti S.A. (TMLUC) workers, whose company headquarter is Los Conquistadores (Santiago, Chile), gaved their perceptions. A quantitative, non-experimental design was applied to a sample of 60 people and a survey, elaborated by me, was used as a data collection instrument. The WE program has been applied since 2013, and the only purpose of the intervention that I made was to recollect the necessary information for this study. TMLUC’s workers have received a set of physical and psychological benefits from the WE program. Among those benefits are the decrease of physical and mental fatigue, the increase of productivity and the improvement of the emotional state. In addition, a 50% of people in the sample pointed out that they fully agreed that the program helped to decrease the work related Musculoskeletal Disorders and a 36.6% pointed out that they agreed the same, but not strongly. In conclusion, workers’ perception is that the program of workplace exercises help to decrease the onset of MSDs.
