dc.description.abstractEl propósito de este estudio es identificar la percepción que tienen los profesionales que trabajan en residencias familiares respecto al rol que tienen del psicopedagogo. Para comprender el contexto de esta investigación, se detalla lo que es la protección a la infancia, acogimiento residencial, residencia familiar, modelos y áreas de la orientación psicopedagógica, la orientación en los diferentes ámbitos del contexto no formal y finalmente, el rol del psicopedagogo dentro de las residencias. Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo propuesto, se entrevistaron a 5 profesionales del área investigada, donde los resultados obtenidos fueron categorizados de manera inductiva, logrando así definir 8 subcategorías que aluden a la función del psicopedagogo dentro de las residencias familiares. A través de estas se pudo identificar las funciones que podría cumplir el psicopedagogo si estuviese dentro del modelo técnico del Servicio Nacional de Menores. Algunas de estas son: trabajar las habilidades socioemocionales, entregar estrategias para la vida independiente, participar en la intervención con la dupla psicosocial, intervenir a nivel familiar y educacional. Se discuten las conclusiones en base a las respuestas obtenidas a través de las entrevistas para posteriormente, crear propuestas prácticas, tanto para las instituciones que gestionan residencias familiares como para la innovación de la malla curricular de la Universidad Andrés Bello. dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to identify the perception that professionals working in family residences have regarding the role of the educational psychologist. To understand the context of this research, we detail what is child protection, residential care, family residence, models and areas of educational psychology, guidance in the different areas of the non-formal context and finally, the role of the educational psychologist within the residences. In order to fulfill the proposed objective, 5 professionals of the investigated area were interviewed, where the obtained results were categorized in an inductive way, achieving in this way to define 8 subcategories that allude to the function of the psychopedagogist within the family residences. Through these, it was possible to identify the functions that the educational psychologist could fulfill if he or she were within the technical model of the National Service for Minors. Some of these are: work on social-emotional skills, provide strategies for independent living, participate in the intervention with the psychosocial duo, intervene at family and educational level. The conclusions are discussed with practical proposals for the institutions that manage family residences and the university curriculum.en
