The present investigation was carried out at the Andrés Bello University, Republic headquarters. At present, Chile's airport network covers most of the regions, generating a contribution at the country level for the development and transport of passengers. This research seeks to determine which is the most suitable pavement for a runway of low air traffic comparing 2 types. A structure composed of a flexible structural package (asphalt) and another of a rigid structural package (Concrete) will be analyzed to determine in a technical-economic way which of these is the most appropriate for this type of tracks. To carry out this investigation, each solution was designed with the same air traffic according to a type track, " Guardia Marina Zañartu Airport, Puerto Williams", both solutions were analyzed technically and finally a saving percentage was estimated for the construction of said structural packages. In this way, the economic technical analysis is developed and the appropriate solution is found for the construction of a low air traffic track.
