| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo estudia la concepción de Sócrates del cuidado del alma e intenta demostrar de qué manera la filosofía socrática está conectada con su vida En primer lugar, uno de los principales objetivos del método de Sócrates tiene como motivo la exhortación. Así el hombre puede llegar a darse cuenta de cuál es el verdadero fin de la vida humana En segundo lugar, de acuerdo con la Apología, el mejoramiento del alma depende del conocimiento de sí mismo. Sin embargo Sócrates no nos dice qué es el alma, solamente advierte que es lo más valioso para el ser humano. En palabras simples: aquellos que no se preocupan de sus almas son quienes disfrutan del dinero, los honores y los placeres. Abstract This paper discusses Socrates' conception of the soul care and it just intends to show how is it Socrates' philosophy connected with his life, On the one hand, one of the main objectives of Socrates' method is based upon exhortation. So men could become aware ofwhich is the real aim ofhuman life, On the other hand, according to Apology, the improvement of the soul depends on oneself's knowledge. However, Socrates didn't tell us what the soul is, he has only been saying that is the most important thing for the human being.
