Las Familias, roles y funciones en la educación inicial de niños y niñas, invita a realizar un
análisis en base a referentes nacionales e internacionales, descubriendo estos y como se
relacionan e influyen los distintos tipos de familias, lo que lleva a proponer nuevos roles y
funciones de las familias en educación inicial en el contexto de la implementación de las
actuales políticas educacionales vigentes, esto se lleva a cabo a través de una
investigación socio critica que permite un análisis y generar aportes a la educación inicial,
en un enfoque cualitativo, desarrollado en el marco de un análisis documental y de
contenido, llegando a considerar la importancia de promover la participación de las
familias, favoreciendo así el desarrollo de niños y niñas, sin embargo es importante
considerar que como familias tienen roles y funciones, dentro de la educación parvularia y
como personas a cargo de niños y niñas con necesidades, cualidades y características
especificas y diferentes.
