oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas (FODA).
orgĆ”nica CEE 2092), el cual es fundamental para la exportaciĆ³n del producto;
This project analyzes: the market, and the technical and financial characteristics that are necessary to develop a company that produces organic deodorized rosehip oil. In an exhaustive study, the strength, opportunity, weakness, and threats (SOWT) were studied. The projections for demand and the strategy for commercialization, including the planning and marketing strategies, were also examined. This project examined: the legal aspects with which one must comply (organic certification CEE 2092), which is fundamental for the exportation of the product; elaborate production plans. lt was also determined for this type of project that the human factor needed to be separated into two categories: Permanent and temporary workers, which consist of 44 permanent workers and 39 temporary workers during the first year. lt was also established, through an evaluation that a suitable location was Coihueco. Finally, the necessary investments as well as the costs and incomes of the project were determined. For the year 2006 the project demands 1,916 containers, which will be increased by approximately 5 percent in the following years. The income for the first year, considering the price of $76, 416.34 per 5 lt. container, it throws for the pure flow $ 42,760,463. The VAN and TIR values were analyzed and determined. The value of VAN would be 1,640.48 UF and the TIR value would be 13.28 %. According to the elaborated studies of this project, this type of company has a good alternative for development, but one must take into account the principal entry barrier that a large investment, (20,555.3 UF) must be made. Even though this is difficult and risky, an examination of the project after 10 years of development demonstrates is it is feasible, projecting growth through the years.
