In the physical education curriculum there is no unit focused solely on the axis of active and healthy life, it can be seen how it is distributed throughout the academic calendar, through different paths or strategies. Within this calendar we see how there are schools that place greater emphasis on this axis, creating investigative units based on the subject or have different systems to transmit the importance of what is active and healthy life, however, it can be noted that this does not happens in the vast majority of institutions, the researchers proposed a tool that transversally evaluates the axis of active and healthy life in physical education classes in different schools in the metropolitan region. To develop the objectives of the research, a qualitative methodology was used to indicate aspects that will improve the way of evaluating the axis of active and healthy life in a comprehensive way, for which an interview with open questions was applied to teachers of 6 schools of Santiago, 5 belonging to private schools and 1 belonging to a municipal establishment. On the other hand, it seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed tool by identifying how different students incorporate the axis of active and healthy life into their daily lives, for this a dichotomous checklist was used for boys and girls of fifth and sixth grade. in 6 establishments.
