dc.description.abstractEste artículo trabaja la relación entre filosofía y política a partir de la obra de Alain Badiou. En contra de los presupuestos de lo que él llama la filosofía política tradicional, la propuesta del filósofo francés es la creación de una alternativa a la que denomina metapolítica, la cual parte de la consideración de que la política no pertenece solamente al orden de la práctica, sino que también es un pensamiento generador de verdades políticas. Además, para Badiou, dicho pensamiento es irreductible y condicionante respecto del pensamiento filosófico, por eso advierte acerca de los peligros que implica la confusión entre ambos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis paper examines the relation between philosophy and politics in the work of Alain Badiou. Against the assumptions of what he calls traditional political philosophy, the philosopher proposes the creation of an alternative, known as metapolitics. Departing from the premise, that politics not only belong to the practical sphere, but that politics are also a thought that generates political truths. Also metapolitics are irreducible and the precondition for philosophical thought and for that reason Badiou alerts us to the risks of confusing these two realms of thought.
