The development of Neuroscience has made it possible to establish the impact of lack of care and of the different types of violence in childhood, on the maturation and development of the central nervous system. Therefore, the maturation and proper functioning of the brain depends on the care and good treatment received from the primary caregivers, constituting the basis for motor, cognitive, affective, and relational development. But what happens when the normal development is interrupted, and the well-being of children and adolescents is affected by abusive dynamics that put their physical and emotional protection at risk. The present study seeks to expose the experiences of professional psychologists who intervene in contexts of domestic violence, through specialized programs in reparation of vulnerable experiences. The analyzes carried out according to their field work with children and adolescents are exposed, especially in the work with preadolescents of the female gender, regarding their process of identity construction, self-esteem, and emotional development, and how this is affected due to their interaction. in vulnerable contexts.
