En la actualidad, la interpretaciĆ³n ambiental se ha convertido en una herramienta Ćŗtil e
importante, tanto para fomentar la conservaciĆ³n de recursos naturales como para incentivar
la educaciĆ³n de visitantes a Ć”reas protegidas. A partir de esta premisa, el siguiente trabajo
tiene por objeto generar una propuesta de mejor utilizaciĆ³n del sendero de interpretaciĆ³n
que lleva por nombre "Pasaje a lo Natural", el cual se ubica en el cerro Manquehue comuna
de Vitacura, Santiago, lugar donde estĆ” emplazada la Granja Educativa Manquehue. Dicha
instituciĆ³n, tiene como misiĆ³n promover los principios sobre ecologĆa, educaciĆ³n y
recreaciĆ³n, dentro del contexto del ecoturismo.
De esta forma, a travĆ©s de la interpretaciĆ³n ambiental en este lugar, las personas podrĆ”n
aprender sobre la importancia de la conservaciĆ³n y estudio de los recursos naturales y
culturales de un territorio especĆfico. Para tal fin, se desarrollaron los siguientes objetivos especĆficos: En priiner lugar, se realizĆ³
un diagnĆ³stico de la situaciĆ³n actual del sendero. Luego, se catastraron los recursos
interpretativos existentes que sirven de base para la interpretaciĆ³n ambiental. Por Ćŗltimo, se
propuso la ubicaciĆ³n y contenidos de estaciones de interpretaciĆ³n ambiental las ~uales
permiten que durante el reconido del Sendero se pueda aprender del paisaje. Para ello, la
metodologĆa aplicada consistiĆ³ bĆ”sicamente en el desarrollo de dos etapas. La primera,
denominada trabajo de gabinete, consistiĆ³ en la recolecciĆ³n y revisiĆ³n bibliogrĆ”fica de la
literatura especĆfica. Como segundo paso, se llevĆ³ a cabo el trabajo en terreno, realizĆ”ndose
en tres etapas. Primero, se recolectaron los datos generales de donde se encuentra la granja,
luego se hizo un levantamiento de informaciĆ³n de flora y fauna del lugar. Finalmente, se
analizaron las caracterĆsticas tĆ©cnicas que se deben tomar a la hora de generar una
propuesta de mejor utilizaciĆ³n de un sendero interpretativo.
At present, the environmental interpretation has become a useful and important tool, both to promote preservation of natural resources and to incentive education of the visitors to protected areas. From this premise, the following work has the objective to propose a design for a trail of interpretation at Ā· the Cerro "Manquehue" where is located the educational farm "Manquehue''; the institution's mission is to promote the principies of ecology, education and recreation, within the context of ecotourism , so through environmental interpretation we will visit the site, introducing people into the tourist Ā· Ā· attractions of the area with which you can teach about the importance of preservation and study of natural and cultural resources of a specific territory, Thus, we developed the following specific objectives; for this reason first, we characterize a path of interpretation and then we cadastre the interpretative resources. Finally, we propose location and content of environmental interpretation stations. For that, the methodology used in the development consisted of two phases; one denominated a working cabinet, consisting ofthe collection and bibliographic review ofthe literature. As a second step, we applied the data obtained on the spot. In this second phase the following Ā· steps took place, which consisted of a lifting of the general location of the farm, -then became a lifting of the information of flora and fauna. Subsequently, it defined the location of the interpretative trail at the Educational Farm "Manquehue". It concluded the need for progress in this area that stands as a great alternative to promotes sustainable tourism and finally environmental education.
