programa descrito.
Sustainability, today, is one of the consumer trends in the world that is changing. Some consumers are worrying about the social, environmental and economic impact of their purchases, especially those related to the environment. Due to this concern or interest in achieving, through daily action, a true positive impact in the world, companies of various categories are looking for how they can offer customers new shopping alternatives that guarantee what they are pursuing. The tourism industry is no exception, and this is how this research describes and seeks to identify and evaluate the offer of tour operators in Greater Concepción, through the application of management tools, and a survey of tour operators in the sector under analysis. Through them, it is possible to define that if there is knowledge regarding the Chilean sustainability standard, determined by the Seal S of SERNATUR, however, they are not certified in it. Finally, the quality of the general tourist program of the respondents is analyzed, through the parameters requested by SERNATUR in the program described.
