Percepción de las personas mayores usuarias de la calidad de la atención del programa de teleatención fonoaudiológica de la Universidad Andrés Bello durante los años 2020-2021

Debido al contexto sanitario vivido por la pandemia por SARS-CoV-2 muchas
atenciones médicas y de terapia debieron ser suspendidas o reprogramadas a
través de un nuevo modelo de atención para así evitar la propagación viral.
La teleatención se instauró como medio alternativo de atención para quienes
requieren de atención médica y/o terapéutica. Existen escasas investigaciones
sobre la percepción de las personas respecto a esta nueva forma de atención. Es
por esto que el objetivo de esta investigación de diseño descriptivo y temporalidad
transversal fue conocer la percepción de la calidad de la atención de las personas
mayores usuarias del Programa de Teleatención Fonoaudiológica de la Universidad
Andrés Bello durante el año 2020 - 2021, a través de un cuestionario online.
En este estudio participaron usuarios de 60 años y más, del programa de
teleatención de la Universidad Andrés Bello, durante los años 2020-2021. Para ello
se realizó un muestreo no probabilístico intencional o de conveniencia.
Es posible concluir que las personas mayores perciben la teleatención como un
método de atención de salud que brinda beneficios para su recuperación, con altos
niveles de satisfacción con respecto al programa de teleatención fonoaudiológica de
la Universidad Andrés Bello.
Due to the health context experienced by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, many medical and therapy services had to be suspended or rescheduled to through a new model of care to prevent viral spread. Telecare was established as an alternative means of care for those who require medical and/or therapeutic care. There is little research on people's perception of this new form of care. This is why the goal of this descriptive design research and transversal temporality was to know the perception of the quality of people's care older users of the Phonoaudiological Telecare Program of the Andrés Bello University during the year 2020 - 2021, through an online questionnaire. This study involved users of 60 years and older of the telecare program of Andrés Bello University during the years 2020-2021. To this end, anintentional or convenience non-probabilistic sampling was carried out. It is possible to conclude that older people perceivetelecare as a method of healthcare that provides benefits for their recovery, with high levels of satisfaction with the telecare program phonoaudiology of the Andrés Bello University.
