Esta investigaciĆ³n tiene como propĆ³sito conocer la vinculaciĆ³n de la participaciĆ³n ocupacional de cuidadoras con la incorporaciĆ³n del homeschooling en pandemia. Para lo cual, se realiza un estudio con enfoque cualitativo a partir de la teorĆa fundamentada, en donde emerge el conocimiento a partir de entrevistas que se les realizan a mujeres que viven en la RegiĆ³n de ValparaĆso y estĆ”n a cargo del cuidado de niƱos/as pertenecientes al primer ciclo de enseƱanza bĆ”sica que imparten la educaciĆ³n online en contexto de pandemia.
Es asĆ como a partir de las categorĆas y resultados obtenidos en esta investigaciĆ³n, las mujeres cuidadoras han evidenciado una transformaciĆ³n en su participaciĆ³n ocupacional con la llegada abrupta del homeschooling como mĆ©todo para continuar con la educaciĆ³n desde casa. Esto ha provocado que las cuidadoras tengan una carga ocupacional al estar al cuidado, educaciĆ³n y crianza de sus hijos e hijas ademĆ”s de los quehaceres del hogar, lo que deja en evidencia que las percepciones de los roles de gĆ©nero siguen vigentes en la sociedad actual en las organizaciones de las vidas familiares.
Desde la Terapia Ocupacional SociocrĆtica esto se considera una problemĆ”tica social, en donde las mujeres cuidadoras deben ser reconocidas, potenciando la realizaciĆ³n de polĆticas pĆŗblicas que visibilicen el cuidado y el valor social, econĆ³mico y cultural, en una sociedad marcada aĆŗn por el patriarcado.
The purpose of this research is to know the link between the occupational participation of caregivers and the incorporation of homeschooling in a pandemic. Therefore, a study is carried out with a qualitative approach based on the grounded theory where knowledge emerges from interviews of interviews conducted with women who live in the ValparaĆso Region and are in charge of the care of childrenĀ“s belonging to the first cycle of basic education who provide online education in the context of the pandemic. This is how, based on the categories and results obtained in this research, womenĀ“s caregivers have shown a transformation in their occupational participation with the abrupt arrival of homeschooling as a method to continue with education from home. This has caused caregivers to have an occupational burden when being in care of educating and raising their children's in addition to household chores, which shows that perceptions of gender roles are still valid in today's society in the organizations of family lives. From the Sociocritical Occupational Therapy this is considered a social problem, where women caregivers must be recognized, promoting the realization of public policies that make visible the care and social, economic and cultural value in a society still marked by patriarchy.
