Resumen
El análisis y la reflexión que pretende esta investigación, dice relación con
conocer los factores de la Gestión Curricular del Colegio Particular Aurora de Chile de
Chiguayante que inciden en los resultados SIMCE de cuartos básicos. Por las
características y la metodología utilizada, es posible afirmar que nos encontramos frente a
una investigación interpretativa y descriptiva.
La investigación se centra en cuatro dimensiones asociadas a la Gestión
Curricular, en base a las cuales se recogió información con ayuda de cuestionarios y
entrevistas en profundidad. A su vez, se analizaron documentos oficiales del
establecimiento y del MINEDUC. Participaron de esta investigación directivos y
profesores de primer a cuarto año de Educación Básica del establecimiento en estudio.
Para dar confiabilidad a la investigación realizada se utilizó el Método de
Triangulación. En él se aplicaron tres técnicas de recogida de información, mediante las
cuales se recopiló la información para su posterior análisis. Los resultados de la
triangulación permitieron la comprensión del objeto de estudio y aportaron el sustento en
base al cual, se pueden implementar futuros proyectos de mejoramiento.
Las principales conclusiones de esta investigación dan cuenta de lo complejo que
resulta determinar los factores de la Gestión Curricular del Colegio Particular Aurora de
Chile y de cómo éstos inciden en los resultados de aprendizaje de sus estudiantes. Por
otra parte, se reafirma la necesidad de reflexionar sobre las prácticas docentes, evaluar y
sistematizar los procesos internos del establecimiento para lograr así, las metas y objetivos
que se proponen como unidad educativa
The analysis and consideration that this investigation pretended to achieve, had to deal with getting knowledge of a series of factors from the curricular management of the Aurora de Chile Private School located in Chiguayante city and which affect the Fourth level Simce results directly. According to the characteristics perceived and the kind of methodology used it is possible to confirm that we are facing a descriptive and interpretative investigation. The investigation focused on four dimensions related to the curricular management, on which lot of information was recollected thorough questionnaires and thorough interviews. At the same time, official documents that belonged to the educational institution and others from Mineduc were also analyzed in order to get an extra information o validate our searching work. The head master, directors and teachers from the first level to the fourth one in the Elementary school took part in this investigation performed in the educational institution. The object of our actions and intentions was to make the investigation trustful to anyone so, we decided to use the Triangulation Method. Through this, three techniques especially created for gathering information were applied to obtain all the necessary information to be analyzed afterwards. The triangulation method allows us to understand the focus and purpose of our studies, besides the support on which new improving projects can be introduced in the future. The main conclusions derived from this investigation tells about how hard or complex is trying to determine the form and level of intensity of the Curricular Management factors of the Aurora de Chile Private School with respect to the incidence these factors have upon the results of the students’ learning. On the other hand, these factors corroborate the necessity for thinking in a serious and careful way about our work experiences, the evaluation and regulation process of this educational institution to succeed in getting the goals and objectives which have been suggested by the School Community.
